O-Town Sound wins second place in Division "A" chorus competition!

O-Town Sound won the Second Place Award in Division "A" in the Chorus Competition held at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, Florida on April 21, 2012. This annual competition is held during the Atlantic-Gulf Region 9 Regional Convention.

Welcome to O-Town Sound

The Board of Directors of Sweet Adelines International has given O-Town Sound Chorus official Chapter status! Welcome to O-Town Sound Chorus, Region 9 Chapter of Sweet Adelines International.

We are a group of women who enjoy a cappella singing in the Barbershop style, and have a love of singing, learning, and friendship. The group consists of singers of all ages and backgrounds, some of which have been singing for many years and some who are new to this craft.

Kay Webb, our Director has been the director of four SAI choruses and a member of numerous quartets including Jackpot!, the 2008, 2009, 2010 second place International Medalists. She has participated throughout her long SAI membership in regional workshops and seminars including a director's workshop, and has been a contestant on the regional and International level from 1978 to present. She also sang in an 8-part jazz group and 4-part contemporary group.

Kay is an exceedingly competent and joyous teacher of this fine art, and our rehearsals are packed with music education, singing, laughter, and fun.

We started this endeavor in February 2011 and hope to continue to sing, laugh and grow our ranks. Sweet Adeline chapters have members numbering from 20 to 150 so we have a lot of room for growth.

Rehearsals are every Monday from 7pm to 10pm at

Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church

3900 South Hiawassee Road, Orlando

The church is on the west side of Hiawassee Road, across the street from Turkey Lake Park. Rehearsals are in the sanctuary on the left side of the building (see Map page for more details).

Come and join us to make beautiful music together.

Welcome to the 2012-2013 O-Town Sound management team and (front right) chorus director Kay Webb!
I joined O-Town Sound because...
Double Trouble: an O-Town Sound quartet!
... even though a friend led me there, I felt the love and sisterhood from these strangers immediately. My life has been changed for the better through song - Wendy

... I was looking for a new chorus that had a great sound and was singing lots of exciting music...and had a great group of gals...and I found it - Pat

... I knew O-Town Sound would work hard at their craft and be the best singers they could be while having fun in the process - Bev

... I wanted to sing with a dynamic group of diverse women. Since I was already in love with 4-part barbershop harmony I needed a chorus that was striving for excellence and had a director who could take us to the TOP, I found it!! - Pattie
... I love to sing Bass in a Barbershop chorus, learn and have fun - Gloria

... from the first night I heard laughter and fine singing. I didn't want to miss a minute from that moment on! - Cathie

... I wanted a high quality singing group. I am able to use my teaching skills and work closely with our Director, Kay. Singing well is hard work and I love it. Thank you, Kay and O-Town Sound for letting me do what I love. - Judy

... I was ready for a new challenge with new goals and excitement. - Marsha

... O-Town Sound is professional, focused and lots of fun. - Sandra

... I heard they wore see through pants and gave away rhinestone jewelry when you join...that's not wrong is it  - ;)

... after extensive research of regional choruses I found OTS to be the chorus that best reflects Sweet Adelines International ideology, talented singers in pursuit of musical excellence through commitment, cordiality and comradeship. - Melinda

...not because I can sing but because I couldn't imagine life without singing barbershop. It's like Girl Scouts for grownups with harmony! It's pure wellness. - Paula
